Ordering Fractions

Given a list of fractions, you should know how to put them in increasing order. This can be done by comparing pairs of fractions, or by finding a common denominator for the whole list. Sometimes it is obvious that a fraction is close to zero, close to one-half, close to one, or even bigger than one.

Example: put the following fractions in increasing order

3/5
6/7
7/12
1/8
12/7
2/3

ACTIVITY: sort fraction cards by benchmarks (0, 1/2, 1)
