COSC 1435 Lab 2

Purpose: This lab assignment is the homework from Chapter 1, Brookshear and a pseudocode problem.

Due: The problems and your pseudocode are due the beginning of class, February 11, 2013

Requirements:

Part 1. Do from Chapter 1 (Brookshear), Problems 1, 2, 4 - 9, 19 - 27, & 30 - 33.

Part 2. This is a continuation of the class discussion on pseudocode and algorithms. We will start by as a group developing the pseudocode for printing triangles as our output. This file contains examples of what the output will look like based upon the given input.

Your homework is to take what we did in class andevelop the pseudocode for a related problem. This file contains examples of what the output will look like based upon the given input. We will develop a table in class that will get you started on doing this assignment.

Submission: Both parts of this assignment will be turned in as a paper copy. I prefer typed answers, but will accept neatly written material. Make sure your name, COSC 1435, and Lab 2 are at the top of the assignment you turn in.

Grading Criteria: 100 points points available for this lab, 35 for the homework and 65 for the pseudocode.
