Fifties family slides

1956
In 1956, Daddy purchased his first 35mm camera and started taking slides of the family, vacations, the houses we lived in, and of course flowers. We lived at 122 W 222nd Street in Wilmington (now Carson) California. We added two bedrooms and a nice sunny patio.	This is the back of the house. Dad planted red bougainvillea over the trellis-covered patio. Notice Dad's home made trampoline, made of a pipe frame, sail canvas, and cut up inner tubes for the springs. It wasn't perfect, but we sure had lots of fun with it.
