1956
|
In 1956, Daddy purchased his first 35mm camera and started
taking slides of the family, vacations, the houses we lived in, and
of course flowers.
We lived at 122 W 222nd Street in Wilmington (now Carson)
California. We added two bedrooms and a nice sunny patio.
|
This is the back of the house. Dad planted red bougainvillea
over the trellis-covered patio.
Notice Dad's home made trampoline, made of a pipe frame,
sail canvas, and cut up inner tubes for the springs. It wasn't perfect,
but we sure had lots of fun with it.
